As the Publisher for Waypoint, Mike directs the design and development of industry-leading training for IT Pros. In this role, he builds on his more than three decades of experience in the learning profession. Mike believes that Waypoint's people, culture, and values make work what it should be: a natural, humane part of life, driven by passion, curiosity, and excellence. Mike says he reminds himself of this when he starts his workdays, "I pause to recall the blessings that come with working with a company of smart, caring, brilliant people making things of authentic and enduring value." When not working, Mike enjoys spending time with his family, reading, and wandering in the Cascade foothills.
David is a multitalented member of Waypoint's Digital Services team, technical editor, and technical writer. David enjoys working for Waypoint because of his spectacular coworkers (Ed: his words, we swear!), the flexibility of being able to work from home, and the enjoyment he gets from reading about the inner workings of Microsoft products. David says, "I can't work unless my immediate vicinity is clean. My kids often make that a challenge."
David's idea of fun is working. When he isn't working for Waypoint, he is working in the yard, working on a DIY project around the house, or is grocery shopping or running errands for his family. Occasionally, but not often enough, he gets to explore the majesty of Washington state with his wife and three kids.
